What is a healthy alternative to roti/chapati?

Image result for capatiImage result for massimo wholemeal bread

Roti or chapati is the life on Indian food, meaning that it is a "highly reputable" source of energy in the form of carbs. I read an article how people should avoid white carbohydrates when focusing on fat loss (Not the focus of this question). From personal experience, not eating roti, even for a day, means gym the next days is going to be a nightmare. There will be no thrust (or burst) of energy which comes by daily consuming of rotis.

So, what I want to know is a good healthy alternative to rotis which provides the fulfilment and the energy that comes from rotis. Idli is not an alternative because its made of rice, hence white carbohydrates.

Alternative can be a combination of many things.

White carbohydrates are a strict no-no. Whole wheat or any kind of cereal is a form of white carbohydrate.
